So we’ve been back in the US for a full week now, and to say it has flown by would be the understatement of the year. We’ve squeezed in a lot, but not nearly as much as I’d like to have. I saw more elevators on the NY Subway system yesterday than I ever had before, and they all smell different.
So people kept asking what we were missing, and what we were looking forward to having when we were back home, and the only thing I could think of was Tostitos. Seriously, the tortilla chips in London are just the worst, and we make a lot of nachos in the Hussavello household on weekends. I didn’t realize how much I would be excited for when I got back. Although, to be fair, most of it has been in Swansea, which—let’s face it—I always miss. Somerset Creamery?! China Lake?! BURGER KING?! Need I say it… DUNKIN’ DONUTS?!
I’ve packed in a lot of amazing food into the last 24 hours, and yes, I’m including Burger King in that grouping. Don’t judge. And do you know what Brynn and I are going to do right now? Go to Marshall’s. Cause I desperately, desperately want to go to Marshall’s. I can’t even really pinpoint why.
